Evan Atlantis

I am Senior Lecturer at Western Sydney University and Visiting Research Fellow at The University of Adelaide. I am a research leader with over 13 years’ experience in chronic disease research based on randomised controlled trials, large observational studies, and systematic reviews. I promote high-quality research in my research, teaching, and professional engagement activities. My current research is focused on specialist obesity services and integrated primary care for chronic disease management. My current teaching is focused on postgraduate education (ethics in health research) and supervision (PhD students and health professionals). I served on the WSU human research ethics committee from 2013 to 2015. I have over 50 publications mostly in top-ranked journals (40 as first or last author including two monographs; i10-index of 39 and overall H-index of 27 in Google Scholar). I have also been one of several Chief/Investigator recipients of NHMRC and NSW Government grant funding (approximately $4.3 million).
